Greetings & Salutations!

Wayne is a polymath who was born at a very early age and, quite impressively, has not died yet-something he considers to be a notable achievement.

He joined Freemasonry in 2006, the Holy Royal Arch in 2007, the S.R.I.A. in 2012, and the Ancient & Accepted Rite in 2013. In 2011, Wayne became the Master of Llannerch Lodge and has spent fourteen of the following fifteen years in one chair or another. His commitment to Masonry is extensive. He was a founding member of the Widows Sons North Wales chapter, served as the Provincial Webmaster for five years, the Assistant Provincial Mentor for five years, and was part of the Membership Pathways Team also for five years. Additionally, Wayne was an active member of the North Wales Association of Masonic Study for eight years,  as both a Speaker and committee member, he has also been giving talks across several provinces since 2017.

Wayne is also a fervent supporter of the Blood Bikes Wales charity, dedicating his time and effort to this vital cause, raising over £50,000 from talks and presentations.

Put simply Wayne is A Blood Biker, A CodeNinja, A Gamer, A Hacker, A Blogger, A Writer & Poet, A Speaker, A Freemason, A Rosicrucian, A Reader, A Spod, A Son, An Uncle, A Brother, A Man, AN INDIVIDUAL!

Emergency Services Day (2026)

Did you observe the two minute silence at the ninth hour on the ninth day of the ninth month? I did. I stopped, I stood, and I let the quiet do its work. Because today is 999 Day, a day that deserves far more attention, reverence, and gratitude than it often receives....

International Day of Charity

The International Day of Charity arrives like a quiet bell in the middle of our busy lives, inviting us to pause, breathe and look toward the people who carry the world on their shoulders without ever asking for applause. It is a day that reminds us that kindness is...

The New Season has Started

The new season has rolled in once more, and as ever it opened with Clwyd College SRIA up on the coast at Mostyn, that familiar stretch of shoreline where the wind always seems to carry a hint of ceremony. Oddly enough, my second meeting of the season is also in...

When Two Stars Slip Beyond The Curtain

A Memorial for Tim Curry and Dolly Parton. There are days when the world feels a little dimmer. Days when the great stage lights of our shared culture flicker, soften, and finally go out. Today is one of those days. Two legends, two voices, two spirits who shaped...

Today is Blood Bikes Awareness Day, a moment to shine a light on the extraordinary volunteers across the UK (and around the world) who give their time, their skill, and their heart to support the NHS.   These riders, controllers, fundraisers, and coordinators step...

Partial Solar Eclipse 2026

Yesterday evening the sky decided to put on a show. A partial solar eclipse swept across the UK, the first since 1999, back when we had dial‑up internet, and thought a Nokia 3210 was the height of technological wizardry. The next one won’t grace our shores until 2091,...

National Book Lovers Day 2026

Today is National Book Lovers Day, that curious unofficial holiday designed to encourage bibliophiles to celebrate reading and literature, or perhaps to nudge the non‑readers gently toward the nearest bookshelf. I’ll be honest: this particular holiday has always...

Three Daniel Owen Festival Lectures 2020-2024

The newest book by Robert Lomas has just landed on my doorstep, delivered with all the solemn ceremony the postman could muster, and that means my holiday reading is officially sorted. There is something wonderful about that moment when a long awaited book arrives...

The last Masonic Meeting of 2024 – Christmas Dinner Count

This evening was my last Masonic Meeting of 2024! Tonight was the turn of Wrexhamian Lodge's December meeting, which is usually more of a social gathering than a meeting, and a chance for us all to escape families between Christmas and New Year. Depending on how many...

Archaeology on an Xbox

Other then three days of no electricity, Storm Darragh left another nasty side affect. You see, when the power blew the neutral cable into the house was being touched by the live wire, which caused electricity to flow the wrong way through the house circuits. It was a...

BBW – Christmas Party

This evening we had our Monthly Blood Bikes Wales NE meeting, and on this occasion we combined it with a Christmas Party. The meeting was packed with people, most of whom were wearing Christmas Jumpers. I feel like I should own one for such occasions, but I would want...

Memories of the Day – Trip to Vote

This popped up on my Facebook Memories for the day. It is once again time for the UK population to go out on mass and fail to vote me in as supreme ruler of the country. Otherwise known as “The General Election”.   I like to do my civic duty, so this morning I packed...

Storm Darragh

Storm Darragh has hit the UK in full forth! The road I live on is blocked in both directions by fallen trees, the road is a river, and around the corner a powerline is sparking dangerously. It is chaos out there, I hope everyone is safe. Personally I am trapped by...
