Greetings & Salutations!

Wayne is a polymath who was born at a very early age and, quite impressively, has not died yet-something he considers to be a notable achievement.

He joined Freemasonry in 2006, the Holy Royal Arch in 2007, the S.R.I.A. in 2012, and the Ancient & Accepted Rite in 2013. In 2011, Wayne became the Master of Llannerch Lodge and has spent fourteen of the following fifteen years in one chair or another. His commitment to Masonry is extensive. He was a founding member of the Widows Sons North Wales chapter, served as the Provincial Webmaster for five years, the Assistant Provincial Mentor for five years, and was part of the Membership Pathways Team also for five years. Additionally, Wayne was an active member of the North Wales Association of Masonic Study for eight years,  as both a Speaker and committee member, he has also been giving talks across several provinces since 2017.

Wayne is also a fervent supporter of the Blood Bikes Wales charity, dedicating his time and effort to this vital cause, raising over £50,000 from talks and presentations.

Put simply Wayne is A Blood Biker, A CodeNinja, A Gamer, A Hacker, A Blogger, A Writer & Poet, A Speaker, A Freemason, A Rosicrucian, A Reader, A Spod, A Son, An Uncle, A Brother, A Man, AN INDIVIDUAL!

Emergency Services Day (2026)

Did you observe the two minute silence at the ninth hour on the ninth day of the ninth month? I did. I stopped, I stood, and I let the quiet do its work. Because today is 999 Day, a day that deserves far more attention, reverence, and gratitude than it often receives....

International Day of Charity

The International Day of Charity arrives like a quiet bell in the middle of our busy lives, inviting us to pause, breathe and look toward the people who carry the world on their shoulders without ever asking for applause. It is a day that reminds us that kindness is...

The New Season has Started

The new season has rolled in once more, and as ever it opened with Clwyd College SRIA up on the coast at Mostyn, that familiar stretch of shoreline where the wind always seems to carry a hint of ceremony. Oddly enough, my second meeting of the season is also in...

When Two Stars Slip Beyond The Curtain

A Memorial for Tim Curry and Dolly Parton. There are days when the world feels a little dimmer. Days when the great stage lights of our shared culture flicker, soften, and finally go out. Today is one of those days. Two legends, two voices, two spirits who shaped...

Partial Solar Eclipse 2026

Yesterday evening the sky decided to put on a show. A partial solar eclipse swept across the UK, the first since 1999, back when we had dial‑up internet, and thought a Nokia 3210 was the height of technological wizardry. The next one won’t grace our shores until 2091,...

National Book Lovers Day 2026

Today is National Book Lovers Day, that curious unofficial holiday designed to encourage bibliophiles to celebrate reading and literature, or perhaps to nudge the non‑readers gently toward the nearest bookshelf. I’ll be honest: this particular holiday has always...

Three Daniel Owen Festival Lectures 2020-2024

The newest book by Robert Lomas has just landed on my doorstep, delivered with all the solemn ceremony the postman could muster, and that means my holiday reading is officially sorted. There is something wonderful about that moment when a long awaited book arrives...
Third Masonic Step

Third Masonic Step

This evening I became a Master Mason. I have now taken my third Masonic step, and been advanced to the third degree, or "Master Mason". Well I have now reached the degree of a Master Mason, I have no homework, or lines to learn. I am now a full Mason. Even better, I...

Must find the calm place!

Think calm mellow peaceful thoughts… I almost drove into a council office car park and beat the living hell out of someone this morning (I think they were getting this feeling as they kept staring at me in their rear view mirror)… Worst case of Road Rage I ever felt,...

Work: Happiness is shot down in Flames!

Today, I came into the office in high spirits.  The messed up depressed person in the office had a bad week last week. He had messed up big time, and had written a letter of resignation. Now I do feel bad for wanting him gone, since he has a problem that he should be...

Stepping Inside a Horror Film

Stepping Inside a Horror Film

It s an old story, we have all seen it in a horror film, or read it in a book, or even heard it while telling ghost stories in a group. Someone’s driving along a country lane late at night, when the car’s headlights reveal a body on the road. The body is not moving....
