Greetings & Salutations!

Wayne is a polymath who was born at a very early age and, quite impressively, has not died yet-something he considers to be a notable achievement.

He joined Freemasonry in 2006, the Holy Royal Arch in 2007, the S.R.I.A. in 2012, and the Ancient & Accepted Rite in 2013. In 2011, Wayne became the Master of Llannerch Lodge and has spent fourteen of the following fifteen years in one chair or another. His commitment to Masonry is extensive. He was a founding member of the Widows Sons North Wales chapter, served as the Provincial Webmaster for five years, the Assistant Provincial Mentor for five years, and was part of the Membership Pathways Team also for five years. Additionally, Wayne was an active member of the North Wales Association of Masonic Study for eight years,  as both a Speaker and committee member, he has also been giving talks across several provinces since 2017.

Wayne is also a fervent supporter of the Blood Bikes Wales charity, dedicating his time and effort to this vital cause, raising over £50,000 from talks and presentations.

Put simply Wayne is A Blood Biker, A CodeNinja, A Gamer, A Hacker, A Blogger, A Writer & Poet, A Speaker, A Freemason, A Rosicrucian, A Reader, A Spod, A Son, An Uncle, A Brother, A Man, AN INDIVIDUAL!

The 30 Day Book Challenge – Day 08

The idea is delightfully simple: for 30 days, you post once a day in response to a book-themed question. That’s it. No essays, no footnotes, no need to summon the ghost of Shakespeare, just honest answers, curious reflections, and maybe a few cheeky confessions about...

Happy International Women’s Day!

I’ll be honest… when I first heard it was International Women’s Day I assumed it was like the food aisle in Aldi. You know…Italian women… Spanish women… maybe a limited-time Greek one in the middle aisle next to the inflatable kayak. So naturally I asked if you get a...

Dear Roadwork Gods, Have I Upset You Again?

I am increasingly convinced that I’ve once again offended the Gods of Roadworks. There can be no other explanation for the chaos that unfolded last night, so allow me to present the evidence. I’d been over in Mostyn for a meeting. All perfectly ordinary. I already...

O2 Contract Renewal – AKA Scam Cold Callers

I’ve just received (checks notes) the twentieth phone call this week from a very polite, very determined, very Indian‑sounding gentleman named Dave. Or Steve. Or occasionally John. All of whom, coincidentally, are “just calling from O2 about my contract renewal.” Now,...
Nothing compares to a Penguin.

Nothing compares to a Penguin.

I have recently reconnected with some old friends on various Social Networking sites, and we have been catching up and reminding each other of various stories and escapades from the past. I will probably post a few of the more “safe” stories on here at some point. ...

This morning it was quiet at the Insane Asylum! We were informed that due to planned work being done on the trees growing through power lines, we would loose our power supply for a short while.  To prevent damage to servers/systems/coffee pots we shut down all...

It started off as just another day in the Asylum. Well not just any old day, but a Friday. The countdown to the weekend had been started. The coffee brewed. and all was well! Then IT happened. And not a cool interesting intergalactic space spider who likes to disguise...

Sisyphean Roadworks

On my way home last night I saw something that made me do a double take, and was such a bizarre concept that I felt I had to share it with you. Part of my daily commute currently passes “Mobile Repairs“. And No before you ask, that does not mean they repair mobile...

Who said Romance Was Dead?

You cant beat a “good ole family barn raising“. Well, technically there were no barn’s raised, or any barns at all really. And the closet thing to an Amish was a tall blond in skin-tight jodhpurs who walked past at one point. (What is it about boots & Tight...

I Love the smell of Estrogen In the Morning!

WOW. Its all I can say, WOW. I am experiencing a mixture of 60% Shock and 40% Anger, With a small sprinkling of Homicidal Tendencies on top. I’d not seen the Governor all day in the Asylum.  I’d heard slight grumblings coming from down the corridor but that was it. ...

Last night was LOI. And it was a good evening, well OK. It was a good evening apart from a case of “Too many cooks spoil the broth!” which I may talk about in a different post. Someone remind me about it. Just before the end of the evening (We were doing a 1st) during...

Managing the Unmanageable: Or Herding Cats

A nervous air of expectancy tinged with an edge of fear hangs over the quiet room, as a group of people sit on old school chairs arranged in a circle.  Slowly one of the group stands up, looking at the faces of those around him, making sure not to make eye contact. He...

Bloody Small Yappy Dogs!
