Greetings & Salutations!

Wayne is a polymath who was born at a very early age and, quite impressively, has not died yet-something he considers to be a notable achievement.

He joined Freemasonry in 2006, the Holy Royal Arch in 2007, the S.R.I.A. in 2012, and the Ancient & Accepted Rite in 2013. In 2011, Wayne became the Master of Llannerch Lodge and has spent fourteen of the following fifteen years in one chair or another. His commitment to Masonry is extensive. He was a founding member of the Widows Sons North Wales chapter, served as the Provincial Webmaster for five years, the Assistant Provincial Mentor for five years, and was part of the Membership Pathways Team also for five years. Additionally, Wayne was an active member of the North Wales Association of Masonic Study for eight years,  as both a Speaker and committee member, he has also been giving talks across several provinces since 2017.

Wayne is also a fervent supporter of the Blood Bikes Wales charity, dedicating his time and effort to this vital cause, raising over £50,000 from talks and presentations.

Put simply Wayne is A Blood Biker, A CodeNinja, A Gamer, A Hacker, A Blogger, A Writer & Poet, A Speaker, A Freemason, A Rosicrucian, A Reader, A Spod, A Son, An Uncle, A Brother, A Man, AN INDIVIDUAL!

St Swithin’s day – 2026

St Swithin has always been one of those saints who feels less like a figure from a dusty manuscript and more like a quiet companion who walks beside us through the British summer. His day arrives every fifteenth of July, slipping into the calendar with a kind of...

Remembering the bloodiest day in the history of the British Army

A day like this asks for stillness. It asks for the kind of quiet that settles over the hills of North Wales when the wind finally pauses and the world seems to hold its breath. Today marks the anniversary of the bloodiest day in the history of the British Army, the...

Heatwaves, Headlines, and Historical Amnesia

All week the news has been DOOMSAYING that we’re living through “record‑breaking weather the likes of which we have never seen before.” Yet this morning a memory popped up on Facebook from eight years ago, Wales sitting at 39°C, and me slowly roasting like a Welsh...

Final Meeting of the Season (Rosicrucian #5)

The Saturday sun was already blazing when I abandoned my precious lie in and pointed the car back toward England. Everything seems sunny at the moment, sunny and far too hot, as though the weather itself has joined some grand cosmic conspiracy. This time the road...

A New Order

The heat hit like a wall the moment I stepped outside, the kind of shimmering, impossible hundred‑degree blaze that makes a man question every life choice that involves wool, lining, and a tie. Yet there I was, stubborn as ever, armouring myself in a suit and setting...

Talk: Clwyd College – A Quest for the Holy Grail

This evening I attended Clwyd College at Mostyn, for my fourth Rosicrucian event this month. It was our Installation meeting, which went exceptionally well considering the College Secretary had quit all things Masonic so there was a few organised in a rush. This...

Installation and the Holy Grail… Maybe (Rosicrucian #4)

This evening carried that familiar blend of quiet anticipation and gentle chaos that seems to follow me around the Rosicrucian world. I made my way to Clwyd College at Mostyn for what turned out to be my fourth Rosicrucian gathering this month, a detail that suggests...

Government Heat Warning

As I swelter under this oppressive never seen before heat, I find myself glaring upward at the strange and mysterious ball of fire that has taken up residence in our clear cloud free skies. Thirty seven degrees tomorrow. Thirty seven. I live in Wales for goodness...

Bicycles should be Banned!

…..On roads during peak travel/commute hours. Now I should point out that in principle I have no problem with people who want to enjoy the fresh air while getting or staying fit and healthy, or those who want to help the environment, or even those who have several...

I Voted on how to Vote

I Voted on how to Vote

So I went to do my Civic Duty and voted (AGAIN) I swear I seem to be voting a LOT at the minute. So I packed my pack with provisions, emergency supplies, spare ammunition. Grabbed the shotgun & Katana and set off on the trek up into the wilds of the mountains,...

RTL – From the Bookshelf: Heat Wave

What a brilliant piece of MetaFiction this is: For those of you who have been kept locked in a box for the last few years, or believe Television is the work of Satan’s minions and as such avoid the evil gogglebox for more spiritual activities, I guess I should start...
