This cold and frozen morning, I got up early and popped over the border into equally cold England to attend the Provincial AGM for the S.R.I.A. Province of Western Counties and North Wales at Cheshire View.
The Hall had laid out coffee and mince pies out for those of us who had arrived early for rehearsals, which in typical Masonic manner we skipped and just gossiped over coffee and mince pies.
The S.R.I.A. AGM’s have an interesting part where a roll of colleges are read, and after the name is called, all the members of that college stand up and the Celebrant (or senior member) then gives a report on how they are doing and what they have been up to over the last year. It is always good to catch up with how all the Colleges in the Province are doing.
Unfortunately, the Celebrant of Bishop Wilkins College did not make the AGM, so I had to give the report’s for both Bishop Wilkins and Clwyd.
The AGM went on a bit longer than was expected, so this year we did not get to hear the planned paper.
