Second Masonic Step

This evening I became a Fellowcraft.

I have now taken my second Masonic step, and been advanced to the second degree, or “Fellowcraft”. And I am very lucky since this event almost did not happen.

If you live in North Wales and look out your window you will see snow. Lots and lots of SNOW! And the snow prevented many members being able to make it to the meeting. We had enough people there to hold a meeting, but we were ONE person short to actually hold the ceremony. So we had decided to postpone my passing for a month.

Luckily, we had a visitor. And that Visitor who had attended to see my passing, volunteered to fill in for a missing person to allow the night to go on. I will always be thankful to him for that.

So the ceremony happened, it was short handed, and cold. But I was passed to the second degree, and the festive board afterwards was even more fun, due to the lower numbers and the ongoing feeling of “We came together against all odds and got it done!

I am now a Fellowcraft Freemason.
