This evening was a semi-committee meeting, in that it was like a regular committee meeting but only Past Z’s were invited.
We needed this meeting to discuss what we are going to do at our December meeting. We were due to have a new candidate join, but we are now scheduled to have the Provincial Team visiting. Since we want to have a special night for the team, we are thinking of having a Past-Z’s night.
A Past-Masters (Past-Z) night is where people who have been through the chair take the offices of those members who normally have that role. In theory this always ends in one of two ways.
-
- The experienced Past Masters who know the work backwards do an excempelry bit of rital that leaves everyone in attendance in awe.
- The Past Masters who have not done any ritual work in many many years, can not remember anything and it becoames a comedy of errors.

The Holy Royal Arch (Royal Arch)
Administration of the Royal Arch and its Chapters has been entrusted by UGLE to the Supreme Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of England.
Joining the Royal Arch (or 'Chapter') is the fourth and final stage in Pure Antient Masonry, as defined in the Act of Union of 1813 that created the current United Grand Lodge of England.
Anyone who has been a Master Mason for four weeks can join—and should aspire to join the Royal Arch, because becoming a Companion of the Order continues their voyage of discovery
